Now We Are Engaged in a Great Civil War

As the first paragraph was about the past and “four score and seven years ago,” the second paragraph will be about the present: “Now we are engaged in a great civil war…”

Not surprising, the third and final paragraph will be about the future and “a new birth of freedom.”
